No quote forms, no "we'll get back to you". Upload a model and the price is calculated on the spot from what it actually costs to print — here's exactly how.
What's in the price
Material
Your model's volume and chosen quality preset determine how many grams of PLA+ it needs — walls, top layers and infill included.
Machine time
Heavier prints take longer. Time on the printer covers electricity, wear and the plate slot your part occupies.
Prep & finishing
Every order includes slicing, plate prep, support removal, a quality check and packaging. Larger prints add a little more handling.
Margin & minimum
A fair markup keeps the lights on. Small prints (under 20 g) start at £2.99, and most items have a £5.99 minimum — even a tiny keyring takes a plate slot and a trip to the post office. Delivery is added separately.
Long-print saving
Prints from 3 hours receive an automatic model-price reduction, rising to 20% for prints of 15 hours or more. Postage is calculated separately and is not reduced.
Volume & bulk pricing
Order several identical parts and the price per unit drops automatically — the more you order, the cheaper each one. We work it out two ways (shared-preparation repeat pricing and volume tiers) and always apply whichever is cheaper for you, never below a fair production margin.
Delivery savings
Printing from £25 may receive reduced tracked delivery, and printing from £45 may receive free delivery, provided the order still meets our contribution safeguard.

Prints under our £5.99 minimum are rounded up to it (*) — small prints under 20 g start from £2.99. Even a tiny keyring takes a plate slot and a post-office trip, so on small prints the quality upgrade is effectively free.
Volume & bulk pricing
Ordering multiples of the same part? The price per unit falls automatically as the quantity grows — here's a real example for a phone stand (~60 cm³, Standard quality), straight from the quote engine:

Discounts apply automatically — no code to enter, no quote to request. The exact saving depends on the part: lighter parts often save the most, while larger or denser parts keep a fair minimum margin. Planning 100 or more? Your volume price still applies instantly, and we can review the run for bespoke production pricing depending on production efficiency and capacity — short-run and low-volume production without tooling or minimum orders.

- Volume discounts, automatically. Order 2 or more identical copies and the price per unit drops on its own — no code to enter, no quote to request. Each repeat shares £3.00 of preparation, and we compare that against our published volume tiers, applying whichever works out cheaper. The exact saving depends on the part (lighter parts often save the most), and the price never falls below a fair production margin. For 100+ we can also review a run for bespoke production pricing.
- The price you see is the price you pay. Your quote is calculated from real material and machine costs and charged in full at checkout — no surprise add-ons. We check every file by hand before printing, and if we can't print it as quoted we refund you in full. Quotes are locked for 7 days.
- Price match. Found the same part cheaper? We'll match any genuine UK PLA+ quote at the same infill and layer quality — send us the competing quote before you order and we'll take a look. Request a price match →
- Tracked shipping. Royal Mail Tracked 48 is the default, from £2.90, and usually aims to arrive 2–3 working days after dispatch. You can upgrade to Tracked 24 during your quote for a next-working-day delivery aim. Both services include tracking and a delivery photo. An estimate based on your order's weight is shown on the quote and included in the order total; the exact parcel size is confirmed with your order (an awkward-shaped part can need a bigger box than its weight suggests). Eligible printing baskets receive reduced or free delivery only when the contribution safeguard passes. Turnaround is 1–4 days from payment.
- Secure checkout. You pay the quoted price when you order — card payments are handled by Stripe, so we never see your card details, and your print joins the queue as soon as payment clears.
